The Journey Shepherd Group (Coed 20's)
20 Something Christians living out the great commission. We study the Bible together to know God, know ourselves, and apply the Bible to our lives. We serve together from sweeping floors at Hospitality House to teaching children about God in Managua, we're serving God by serving others. We pray together- we carry one another's burdens and pray for each other. We spend time together- Charlotte Knights games, cookouts, or coffee, we're building relationships and new people are welcome. College students are welcome when they are home on breaks.
Singles I (45 & up) & Discipling For Singles (30’s & 40’s)
These groups of Mid-life singles wants to encourage a larger, stronger family of singles here at FBC Matthews. These singles groups use various books for reference in their studies. Singles are welcome to attend either Tuesday (Singles I) or Thursday (Discipling for Singles) at 7:00 p.m. These groups also meet on Sunday mornings in room 123. Discipling for Singles meets at 9:00 a.m.and Singles I meets at 10:30 a.m.

The vision of the single moms ministry is to offer support & encouragement to single moms and their children through a network of church members & ministries while constantly pointing them to God as their Savior, Provider and Source of Strength.
Ministry Scripture: "Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.
