Director: Jeff Mitchell 2012 Opportunities
Current International Missions Managua, Nicaragua Mission Previous Trip: June 18th- 24th, 2011 Contact: Jeff & Mary Stager We plan to visit a garbage dump where 300 families live, work with the women of House of Hope that ministers to those formerly living in prostitution, share God's love and hope in Christ with children in 2 orphanages near the capital city of Managua in addition to working with a Christian singles group in the area. We have a program that includes games, music, crafts, and sharing God's Word through skits. Managua, Nicaragua Mission(Church Planting)

This mission team will work along side the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism to establish Baptist Churches, train leaders through theological education, and start works among the youth of Nicaragua. The team will take 1 week trips.
Kiev, Ukraine Mission (view pictures here) (Operation Christmas Child) Contacts: David & Cherese Younts Beginning in February 2009, we partnered with New Life church, a Samaritan's Purse distribution center in the Ukraine, to distribute Operation Christmas Child gifts to orphanages, schools, etc. These boxes also include an age appropriate Bible study series which leads to an opportunity to receive Jesus Christ and follow up discipleship training. The New Life Church's pastor, Anatoliy Kalyuzhnyy is the head of the Council of Independent Evangelical Churches and the Co-Director for Operation Christmas Child Ministry in the Ukraine. These trips will be one week in length. download Ukraine brochure here Operation Christmas Child (learn more here) Directors: Victor & Candy Neale Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the good news of God's love. All ages can be involved in this hands on ministry project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas; Jesus. Along with shoe box gifts millions of children are given Gospel booklets in their own language. The church will also have a time in December to go as a team and work at the distribution center where the gift boxes are packed and prepared to send around the world. Filipino Church Directors: Jojee & Florian Pamintuan Be a part of a multi-cultural church plant with a heart for missions at FBCM. Our Church began in May of 2008 sending a team annually to assist our mission church in to planting churches in the Philippines. Philippine Mission (Church Planting Mission) Contacts: Jeff Mitchell Previous Trip: May 20-28, 2011 This mission is a partnership with our Flippino International Community Church. Once a year, in May, we take a team to the Philippines to begin church plants. We focus on unchurched communities throughout the central area. We accomplish this by holding medical clinics, visiting school, showing the Jesus video, blitzing communities with flyers and intentionally sharing the gospel. Compassion International (learn more here) Director: Tracie Miles A mission organization that provides the opportunity for people to sponsor children in poverty throughout the world. Water for Life (learn more here) Director: Jack Davis This organization drills wells in rural villages in poverty stricken nations and is making a difference. In 10 years they have provided over 2500 wells each costing $4,800. In 2011 they hope to drill 400 more wells in 20 nations around the world. FBCM has begun to collect money to fund the drilling of these wells. This will be an ongoing mission project. Lottie Moon International Mission Christmas Offering (learn more here) We take up this special offering once a year around Christmas. 100% of this gift goes to the international missionaries.
