I recently attended a seminar led by Josh Hunt that gave us suggestions on how we could double our shepherd group attendance in two years. His focus was on hospitality and investing in the lives of others!!
We have an event coming up that will give us a chance to show our hospitality to visitors and some of your friends. Your friends may not be willing to come to worship or attend a shepherd group, but you might be able to get them to come to a weekend golf trip. The trip will expose them to a group of men who love the Lord and enjoy fellowshipping together. The retreat is scheduled for October 2 – 4 in Santee, SC. We had 32 golfers attend last year and had such a great time we’re doubling that number for 2008.
We will be playing a Captain’s Choice format, so don’t worry if your not greatest golfer in the world. Join us for the fun, fellowship, and hear some words of encouragement!
