Disaster Relief Ministry
Director: Ray Graham
FBCM Disaster Relief Ministry meets the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of people during hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, and other natural disasters. Providing meals, cleaning up destroyed areas, and repairing homes are a few of the ways we respond to a disaster. Periodic volunteer training sessions on mass feeding, recovery, clean-up and emergency child care will be offered and required for certain types of work.
Needs:
1) People to do construction repairs to homes, churches, etc.
2) People to do minor and some major clean up.
3) People to assist in the feeding ministry for affected people & workers serving the area.
Men's Prison Ministry
Directors: Sidney & Patsy Knight
This ministry serves four different men's prisons on alternating Sundays throughout the month. Ministry teams go into the prison to lead worship, pray, and share Jesus Christ with the inmates.
Needs:
1) People to sing, play instruments, and lead congregational singing.
2) People to pray and be with the team and talk with inmates before and after the services.
3) People to preach and teach the Word of God and share testimonies during worship services.

This ministry exists to equip missionaries and other Christian professionals for cross-cultural living and ministry. We assist in the feeding and caring for these missionaries while in training.
Needs:
1) People to serve meals during the weeks or weekends the training is scheduled.
2) People to provide emotional and physical needs for missionary families.

FBCM launched its first 501C3 mission ministry in 2006. This ministry needs your physical support annually to participate in an annual weekend mission trip in November, where over 200 people go into four states in the Appalachia Region to assist churches in meeting the needs of their community and sharing the gospel with all participants.
Needs:
1) People needed to drive vans and serve in churches to provide items taken and to share the
gospel.
2) People to serve churches in whatever ways they need our help.
3) People to be a part of the feeding team that provides meals.
4) People to serve as team leaders for many ministry locations.
Angel Tree Ministry
Director: Mitzi Wiggins
Our Angel Tree Ministry takes place every fall and is a way to ensure that all the children in one of our ministry areas of Appalachia receive Christmas gifts and the true message of Christmas, Jesus Christ.
Needs:
1) People needed to assist leaders in ministry to work a pick-up and promotion area during church
service times.
2) People to help box and load the gifts after they are returned by church members.
Andrew II Partners in Missions
Director: Chuck Gardner
Monthly deliveries of clothes, furniture, Bibles, etc., are made to ministry distribution centers.
Needs:
1) People to make pick-ups locally.
2) People to drive loads to distribution locations.
3) People to ride with drivers and assist loading and unloading deliveries.
Powell River Ministry
Director: Buddy Polk
This ministry is a year round effort to address the most basic needs of the impoverished community in Lee County, VA. Weekly deliveries consisting of non-perishable food, clothing, and household items are transported from our area to Lee County, VA.
Needs:
1) Donations of non-perishable food items, clothing, furniture, household appliances, toys, bedding,
etc.(you may drop off any of these at the church during church office hours or service times,
or call the church office to arrange for pick-up of larger items).
2) People to assist in making local pick-ups of donated items.
3) People to share driving and delivery responsibilities(round trip in one day).
Appalachian Regional Ministry (Church Planting)(download brochure)

This ministry is dedicated to assisting and supporting church planters in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.
Needs:
1) Financial support.
2) Prayer walkers for planted churches
3) Servers at the Pennsylvania Baptist State Convention volunteer house in Harrisburg, PA.
