Awana meets every Sunday evening from 5:15-7:00 (September-April)
Awana is a Discipleship ministry focusing on Bible teaching and memorization, and equipping children to carry the wonderful message of Jesus to their friends and family.
A typical Awana Club Meeting for Cubbies, ages 3 & 4 years old:
(parents must be attending discipleship training or teaching Awana or Youth)
- Meet in classroom at 5:15 and enjoy bag dinner brought from home.
- Enjoy stories, games and music time with Miss Doris!
- Recite verses learned during the week with mom and dad.
- Crafts and free play finish out the evening.
***Please note: Cubbies must be three years old by August 31, 2008 and is available for parents who remain on campus for Discipleship Training or are serving as leaders/volunteers in Awana or Student Ministries.
A typical Awana Club Meeting for Sparks, grades k-2; Truth & Training (TNT), grades 3-5; and Trek, 6th graders:
- Meet in sanctuary for flag ceremony at 5:15.
- Dinner with your friends in your classroom, bring a bag dinner from home.
- Recite verses and review handbook activities.
- Game time.
- Story time(Sparks) or Council Time (TNT).
To enroll your child in our Awana Club, click on the Registration Form link above and bring the completed registration form to the Awana office. Someone there will place your child in a class and give you any additional information you need to make Awana a great experience for your family!
