One of my favorite scriptures is Psalm 78, where the psalmist declares "we will not hide the truths from children, we will tell the next generation, the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power and the wonders he has done."
What a wonderful way to define ministry to children and their families! Here at First Baptist we want to partner with you as parents to lead your children to know of God's magnificent love as shown through Jesus. Listed below is our weekly schedule for children. Be sure to check out our website frequently for special events for you and your family.

Our Children's Ministry provides opportunities and services for children from birth through sixth grade.
Each week we offer the following opportunities for children:
Sundays:
9:00 Preschool and Children's Shepherd Groups, Family Worship
10:30 Preschool and Children's Shepherd Groups, Family Worship
4:30 Children's Handbells for grades 4-6, from September-April
5:15 Awanas for ages 3 years-6th grade, from September-April
Childcare for infants through 2 years
Wednesdays:
6:30 Preschool and Children's Choirs ages 3-6th grade, from September-April
7:00 Preschool and Children's Missions ages 3-6th grade, from September-April
Each month we offer the following opportunities for children:
Kingdom Kids: A class for children who are interested in knowing more about becoming a Christian or being baptized. Attendance at the class is required for all children before baptism. Contact Cheryl Markland if your child is interested in attending a class.
Ignition! Sixth Graders for Jesus: Monthly opportunities for sixth graders to form and grow friendships, build self-assurance, have an avenue for inviting others to church and develop a group identity before moving to student ministries.
